The first forum of
representatives of mass media of Armenia-Diaspora held in
Tsaghkadzor on November 14-16, according to the participants of the
forum, became a serious and important step in the direction of
the establishment of the Pan-Armenian information field and the
Pan-Armenian Information Club. Rapporteurs of the Forum are sure
that the establishment of such a service will provide the
Armenian mass media operating in different countries of the
world with collective information about national priorities, and
everyone will feel himself a part of the whole.



Representatives of 160 progressive Armenian mass media from
the whole world participated in the work of the forum. It was
stressed during the discussions that regardless of different
tasks, goals, positions of the Armenian mass media operating in
different countries, tasks on preservation of originality of the
Armenian people, cultural, educational and other tasks are
common for all the communities. Participants of the forum made
different proposals for the resolution of these problems.



As a result of the forum, it was decided to hold on-line
discussions around the issues of the exchange of information,
the type of activities of regulating structure, financing and
other organization work before the second forum, which is
scheduled for next year. And the united information bank about
the Armenia mass media, which will be periodically renovated,
will be established beforehand. A working group will work in the
direction of the elaboration of the proposals sounded during the
on-line discussions and the ideas of the establishment of the
Pan-Armenian information field, which will be put to vote during
the second forum.
